Who I Am Not
2023 | Feature Documentary
Director: Tünde Skovrán
Co-Producer: Patrick Hamm
Synopsis
After discovering that she is intersex, South African beauty queen Sharon-Rose Khumalo begins questioning her identity and place in the world. Seeking guidance, she meets Dimakatso Sebidi, an intersex activist whose experiences and outlook contrast sharply with her own.
Their parallel journeys offer an intimate exploration of identity, self-acceptance, and the challenges of living in a society divided by binary definitions of sex and gender.
